Dr. Lulu Bursztyn is a neuro-ophthalmologist and comprehensive ophthalmologist at the Ivey Eye institute. She currently holds the rank of Assistant Professor at Western University. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Bursztyn performs cataract surgery, botox injections and other minor procedures. New patients are welcome, but must be referred by a physician.

Dr. Bursztyn completed an undergrad in chemical engineering at McMaster University followed by a Master’s degree in Neuroscience at Queen’s University. She completed medical school at Queen’s University, ophthalmology residency at Western University and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Bursztyn’s main areas of academic interest include optic neuropathies, brain tumours and eye movement disorders.

Megan is your first point of contact for the office, she plays an integral role in the day to day operations. With a ready smile and enthusiasm she is happy to assist patients with concerns, appointments and keep things running smooth and organized.

Megan has been working in the field of ophthalmology since 2017 starting in Kitchener and moving here to the Ivey in the summer of 2021. She enjoys the challenges and learning opportunities that come with the position. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son; as well as her two dogs who always keep the family entertained.

Jackie completed the Ophthalmic assistant course through Centennial College. She has worked in the eye care field for over 20 years. She enjoys getting to know patients and spending time with her family.
